Does it cost anything to join?
No, it does not cost you anything to become an affiliate. This is a program where you have a chance to earn money not a program that costs you money!

How and when will I get paid?
You will get paid by check. If the amount owed to you is above the payment threshold ($50.) you will be paid monthly. Checks are processed and sent out the first of every month for sales accumulated the previous month.

What do you mean by "payment threshold"?
Payment threshold is the amount that is needed to accrue before a check is sent out. This amount is presently set at $50.00. If you don't have that much accrued at payment time the amount you have is carried over to the next billing period. Once you have $50. or over in your account it will be sent the next payment day.

Can I use the Affiliate code on more than one site?
Yes, of course! There is no limit how many times or where you place the code as long as it follows the rules set out in our Terms and Conditions. We also have tracking code available for you to easily track your traffic from different sites or pages!

Can I promote Megafriends via email?
As long as it is an Opt-In email list. We do not tolerate spam. If we determine that you have spammed you're account will be deleted immediatly with a complete forfeiture of monies owed.

Can I change the affiliate code in any way?
No, in order to ensure that your sales are credited to you please do not change the affiliate code in any way. You can, however, change the surrounding HTML to incorporate the code into your website.

Do you have banners that I can use?
Of course! We have lots of banners, text links, searchboxes, etc. And they are regulary updated too!

Can I write my own text links/create my own banners?
Sure! But we do require that they are approved by us. Just send us a copy via email. Let your imagination run wild!

I sometimes see 3rd party ads on the site pages. Why?
This would be because you have not accessed the site via an Affiliate link. All traffic sent by Affiliates do not see the ads.

How long have you been in business?
Megafriends went online in the fall of 2000 and we started our affiliate program shortly after. We have been paying affiliates ontime, evertime since the summer of 2001!
